about 7 years ago – Thu, Dec 07, 2017 at 08:58:22 PM

Hello tiny wanderers!

We're just past the two week mark here, and we're SO THRILLED by all of the support so far! We're just over CA$ 12,000 and have reached 39% of our funding goal, and we're still going strong! Please be sure to continue to share with your friends, family, followers, EVERYONE! And of course, a huge thank you to every single one of our backers.

Starting today, we're bringing you CREATOR PROFILES! Our esteemed contributors are immensely talented and we feel that it is important to showcase their work as much as we can. Creator profiles will feature a short bio of each creator, a small description of the work they created, and an exclusive preview of their work. We will be releasing a new batch of profiles every few days!

Please check out our first batch of contributors below! (Click through for full size images)

Now, onto our preview!

Comic excerpt by Cheryl Young
Comic excerpt by Cheryl Young

Based on the Japanese folklore of tsukumogami—tool spirits—the artist’s reimagining of the myth tells a similar tale but with a lesson to be learned. In the original tales, the objects often become mischievous or evil forever after they were abandoned/thrown away, or the tales would focus on how the objects ended up changing location. This piece follows the storyline of the original tales, but focuses on how the person throwing away the object—a gong in this case—is held responsible.

We hope you enjoyed this preview - expect to see more wonderful work like this in the book! Thank you all so much for your support so far, and please keep helping us spread the word!
